The Importance of Creating a Personalized Morning Routine: Unlock Your Full Potential and Boost Productivity

Are you tired of hitting that snooze button repeatedly and rushing through your mornings, feeling unproductive and unfulfilled? I used to be that person until I discovered the power of a well-crafted morning routine that transformed my life. 

Today, I want to emphasize the significance of creating and customizing your perfect morning routine and highlight the numerous benefits that come with it. 

I’ll even share my exact routine and how it has helped me achieve my goals.

Morning Routine Pre-Game

Before diving into my morning rituals, I kickstart my day with a few essential activities:

Morning Supplements

My day begins with a “morning cocktail” that includes:

I mix these three ingredients in less than 8oz of water. It’s a shot of vitality that jumpstarts my morning.

Morning Sunlight

Ideally, I’d spend 15 minutes in the morning sunlight, but living in the UP, it’s not always possible. So, I’ve invested in a light that mimics sunlight to brighten my mornings.

Morning Skincare

I splash cold water on my face, then follow a simple, 3-step skincare routine with natural products that leave my skin glowing.

Morning Coffee

After my skincare, I enjoy my first cup of coffee with a healthy, non-dairy creamer, clean collagen, and organic coffee.

The Morning Routine

Here’s where I dive into my actual morning routine, and I’ve discovered that changing my environment is key:

Time with God

I start my day by reading the Bible and spending time with God. I read, meditate, and pray to center myself.

Journaling

I pour my thoughts, prayers, and gratitude into my journal, setting a positive tone for the day.

Affirmations

I take a few minutes to write empowering “I AM” statements, reminding myself of my true potential and accomplishments.

Rewriting or Reviewing Goals

As a goal-setting enthusiast, I revisit my goals, sometimes rewriting them weekly, reinforcing my commitment to achieving them.

Oh, and PS…I created a journal I use daily called the Hyper Focus Journal. If you want to grab one, get on the waitlist to be the first to know when I launch them.

Visualizations

Finally, I sit quietly and visualize myself accomplishing my goals, reinforcing my belief in my capabilities.

This is my morning routine, which I follow about 80% of the time. I’m not perfect, but I aim for an ideal day to demonstrate how you can tailor a routine to your needs and preferences. I also have a nightly routine and other routines during the day, which I can share later. With five kids to get ready for school, my “ME time” is precious.

After the school drop-off, I return home, finish my coffee, and dedicate an hour to work. During this time, I prepare a mid-morning cocktail with clean pre-workout, collagen, lemon juice, and perfect aminos.

I also add clean creatine to my daily weightlifting routine. 

My fitness routine includes zone 2 cardio and daily walks, which I find incredibly beneficial.

  • Better Time Management: Starting the day with a clear plan from your routine leads to improved time management.
